When you’re Kardashian spawn, extravagance is pretty much ingrained in your DNA. So, when Kylie Jenner’s 22nd birthday rolled around, we would be lying if we said we expected anything less than an OTT celebration.
If you thought the makeup mogul’s birthday bash last year was a lavish affair – a star-studded party at Deliah’s nightclub and a 1950s Rolls Royce is nothing to be scoffed at – then this year the self-made billionaire has well and truly outdone herself yet again.
While we’re just going to assume our invite got lost in the mail, we’ve rounded up every enviable detail from Kylie Jenner’s birthday extravaganza.
The Gifts
Days before Jenner’s actual birthday, Travis Scott got the celebrations underway with a grand, romantic gesture which consisted of peppering the 22-year-old’s house with roses which E! News speculates would have cost $25,000. Jenner posted of the surprise on her Instagram, writing:”My house is covered in ROSES! @travisscott and it’s not even my birthday yet!!!!! Omg ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️😭😭😭😭”
If that wasn’t already enough, the rapper also gifted his girlfriend with a diamond necklace featuring the Kylie Cosmetics “dripping lips” logo, which is estimated to have cost anywhere between $375,000 and $500,000. The moral of this story? Get yourself a boyfriend like Travis Scott.
The Guests
Most of the Kar-Jenner clan were notably absent (we’re assuming it’s because of scheduling and work commitments), Kylie’s longtime BFF Jordyn Woods Stassie Karanikolaou, Sofia Richie and boyfriend Scott Disick were in attendance. And, of course, it wouldn’t be a true Kardashian celebration without momager Kris Jenner present, who made sure she didn’t miss any of the festivities.
A Sweet Surprise
While the make-up empress’ birthday trip was definitely that of epic proportions, we can safely say that it was the sweet birthday serenade from her one-year-old daughter Stormi that really topped the celebrations off. Jenner couldn’t let the day go by without posting an adorable video of herself and Stormi singing “Happy Birthday” and the cuteness overload is too real.
The Location
Jenner celebrated in style with her closest friends and family on the Amalfi Coast. Kylie was spotted jetting around Positano before boarding a luxurious super yacht, which rents for $1.2 million a week. The reality-TV star and her pals have access to a sauna, swimming pool, helipad, beach club, movie theatre, beauty salon, gym, outdoor bar and a jacuzzi while onboard. If the array of colourful, picturesque snaps of Italy’s breataking coastline are any indication, it’s safe to say that Jenner’s luxe birthday celebrations are what literal dreams are made of.
