Another day, another Kardashian Photoshop fail. Well known for going a little too far in slimming a waist, adding a family member or toning up a leg, the Kardashian/Jenner clan have built themselves quite the reputation for being a little too harsh with the editing apps. Now, it seems Kylie Jenner is the latest to fall victim to the strange ways of a Photoshop fail.
Sharing photos from a new shoot with magazine S Moda over the weekend, Jenner was pictured in an array of poses and outfits. But fans were less concerned with the fashion spread and more confused about Jenner’s hand, which, on closer inspection, appeared to be the exact same size as her arm. Say what?
Keen-eyed fans were quick to spot that Jenner’s right hand looked almost the same size as her forearm. A quick look at our forearms and anyone will see that’s not exactly possible.
And while Jenner famously loves her longer-than-life nails, which could be adding to the illusion, some were quick to jump to a Photoshop fail. Plus, with all the photos looking so heavily edited — Jenner received lots of comments about her very tanned skin for the shoot, with many questioning why Jenner wouldn’t leave her skin white, her natural colouring — it wouldn’t surprise us if her hand slipped through the post-production process.
Edited or otherwise, there’s no question Jenner looks good. But, as with most magazine, campaign or influencer shoots, it’s important to remember a lot of editing, filtering and make-up goes into the final product. So while Kylie’s hand might be harmless, judging yourself based off professional photos is never going to be healthy.
