Minogue is the creative director for the range and played a key role in the wine's production process.
“I have a great passion for rosé and have loved working for the last two years on developing Kylie Minogue Wines. We have created a rosé that I am truly enamoured by, it’s fresh, light and the perfect pink," she said of her signature blend.
The wine is a fusion of 80 percent Carignan and 20 percent Cabernet Sauvignon grapes sourced from the southern coast of France.
The final product is described as offering “delicate, alluring aromas of fresh summer berries and white blossom” before turning “refined and refreshing on the palate with a fruity, crisp finish.”
The singer also recently announced that she is debuting her first vintage — a "beautifully pale, blush Provencal rosé" — as part of her Collection series.
"I am so excited to debut the first of the Collection series. The Côtes de Provence is my first vintage! I look forward to seeing and hearing how people enjoy this beautifully pale, blush Provencal rosé,” she revealed on her website.
And if the description of the drop is anything to go by, it sounds like one smooth tipple.
"Elegantly pale peach in colour with alluring, expressive aromas of pink grapefruit, watermelon and lemon blossom. Crisp, dry and beautifully textured palate with zesty fruits leading to a long, silky mineral finish," the website reads.
While rosé has certainly become Minogue's signature drop, her line of wines also features a sauvignon blanc and a merlot.
At this stage, we don't know exactly when in October or where we will be able to get our hands on the wine, so stay tuned!
