Celebrities Call For Gun Control In Response To Las Vegas Shooting

"Blood is on the hands of those who have power to legislate"

As the world comes to terms with the 59 lives lost (and over 500 people injured) in the horrific Las Vegas shooting, people everywhere – including some of Hollywood’s biggest names – are calling for America to finally legislate tighter gun control laws. 

Yesterday’s event was the deadliest mass shooting in US history, as American man Stephen Paddock, 64, gunned down festival-goers from his hotel room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel. The rapid-fire shooting has been attributed to an automatic weapon, with Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo revealing today that a total of 17 firearms were found in Paddock’s hotel room, Washington Post reports.
