Woody Allenโs adopted daughter, Dylan Farrow, who accused the famed director of sexual assault in 2014, has taken a hit at Justin Timberlake on Twitter.
Yesterday, Timberlake tweeted what he probably thought was a harmless, rhetorical question: โRandom question: Can someone please explain the saying, โYou just want your cake and to eat it too.โ What else am I about to do with a cake??โ
Farrow was quick to provide an explanation to the actor.
โThe saying means, for example, you canโt support #TimesUp and praise sexual predators at the same time,โ she wrote. โYou canโt retain your credibility as an activist (i.e. retain the cake) and, at the same time, praise a sexual predator (i.e. eating the cake).โ
Of course, Farrow is referring to Justin Timberlake choosing to work with Woody Allen in the recent film Wonder Wheel, and then supporting the Timeโs Up movement by wearing a pin to this yearโs Golden Globes.
Earlier this month, Greta Gerwig, who worked with Allen on the 2012 movie To Rome with Love, came forward saying she regrets working with the director and that she never will in future.
Both Timothรฉe Chalamet and Rebecca Hall, who are working on a film with Allen currently, have both pledged to donate their salaries to Timeโs Up.

Timberlake is yet to comment on working with Allen.
