Kentucky Judge Amber Wolf made headlines recently when footage showed her outrage at a female inmate showing up to court without any pants. Now, court footage has gone viral again, as the judge has allowed a defendant in a burglary case to meet his 30-day-old baby and hold him for the first time.

In the video, Amber Wolf stipulates that she is making an exception to the no-contact order between the mother and father, who are co-defendants in the same burglary case to allow the father a brief, human moment.
“Are you sure you’re comfortable with this?” she asks the mum, Ashley, before the father, James Roeder, is brought back into the courtroom.
He takes the baby and holds him in awe.
“You see his little shirt?” Ms Wolf says, and the father softly nods and giggles with his baby.
As he handed the baby back to Ashley, tissues were passed around the room.
“If you all aren’t teared up, then you’re just heartless,” said Ms Wolf.
