Anna: So, what are you reading, watching and listening to at the moment?

Laura:

Reading: Sally Rooney’s Conversations with Friends

Watching: Married at First Sight. It’s so trashy… I can’t help myself.

Listening to: I’m always listening to podcasts. I love Girls Gotta Eat and The World’s First Podcast with Erin & Sara Foster

Laura:I don’t have anything specific – I bounce around. Lately I’ve been using Matt’s Tom Ford scent. Luckily it’s unisex.

Anna: Now that we can travel again, where would be your holiday of choice?

Laura: Matt and I went for a holiday to Puglia in Italy when Marlie-Mae was only three months old and I loved everything – from the beaches, to the wine, to the olive trees and the food. I feel so lucky to have travelled all over the world but Puglia has my heart.

Anna: You have such beautiful luscious hair. So, how do you get your best hair days?

Laura: Back-to-back babies [caused] a load of postpartum hair loss. Add colouring to the mix and I have to be really mindful of the products I use. Redken’s Acidic Bonding Shampoo and Conditioner are the “chef’s kiss”.

Anna: What is your inspiration source?

Laura: My background is fine arts, so art captures my imagination. For my jewellery design I’m also inspired by travel experiencing cultures, learning new techniques and sourcing stones from around the world.

Anna: You have a jammed-pack life with your family and career, so when you want a night out or touch of glamour what do you do?

Laura: The days of wining and dining are long gone, but whenever Matt and I have something to celebrate, we book a table at Sean’s in Bondi. The food is all
farm-to-table and [the menu] changes to reflect the produce.

Anna: What is the interior style of your home?

Laura: Our home has a beach-bohemian vibe, with lots of rattan, linen and a big Moroccan inspired rug. It’s homely and livable. With two toddlers underfoot, everything is affordable and durable, and if something ends up with Texta on it, well, we aren’t devastated.
