One of Hollywood’s most private couples – so much so that you could be forgiven for forgetting they’re even together, Leighton Meester and Adam Brody made a rare red carpet appearance last night in Los Angeles for the premiere of the new film, Ready Or Not.
Meester was dressed in a silk peach and purple belted dress by Michael Kors, while her husband looked dapper in a black suit with a thin plaid tie.
Meester, who played Blair Waldorf on Gossip Girl, started dating Brody, who played Seth Rogan on The O.C., in 2013 after the pair met in 2011. The couple spoke to Entertainment Tonight in 2017 about whether they ever laugh at the notion that their iconic characters ended up together.
“Occasionally,” Brody said. Then he joked, “Once a year, randomly, on our Seth and Blair day. It’s good for a laugh.”
On a more serious note, Meester said, “It doesn’t excite us, I think, because we’re just human beings… but it’s exciting to us that it’s exciting to you. It’s cool.”
The outing comes days after Brody was photographed with his former co-star Rachel Bilson, sparking a mini The O.C. reunion. “Ran into my ol buddy from jfk to lax #californiaherewecome🤓,” she captioned her Instagram.
