Leonardo DiCaprio may have just won son of the year for his latest kind gesture. Last night, Leo attended the Heart Fund’s Generous People Dinner Gala in Cannes.
The dinner was to raise money to help save the lives of kids with heart diseases, and DiCaprio didn’t hold back! First, he spent $24,700 AUD on a Chanel bag, which he plans to give to his mum as a gift.
He won out over Paris Hilton in the bidding – a repeat of last year in which he also won a bidding war against Paris Hilton for a Chanel bag (it went for $15,500 AUD)! Last year, he also gave the Chanel bag to his mum, so we can imagine she’s building up quite the collection!
He didn’t stop there though this year, also spending $7750 AUD on a silk scarf by Russian model Inna Zobova’s fashion line Innangelo. Perhaps that will go to one of his model girlfriends?
