Kate Hudson and her partner Danny Fujikawa have welcomed their first child together, taking to Instagram overnight to announce the arrival of a baby girl.
In an three-part post captioned simply, “She’s here,” the pair revealed their daughter was born on October 2.
In the second slide, Kate revealed the newborn’s name: Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa, before explaining the reasoning behind it.
“We have decided to name our daughter Rani (pronounced Ronnie) after her grandfather, Ron Fujikawa. Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly. To name her after him is an honour,” the actress wrote.

While Rani is Danny’s first child, Kate has two sons – Bingham, seven, whose father is musician and Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, and 14-year-old Ryder Russell, whose dad is also a musician and singer of band, The Black Crowes.
Congrats to the happy family!
