Lily Allen fans, your time has come.
After quietly hinting at a possible Australian return during a recent Triple J radio appearance, Lily Allen has now confirmed she will tour Australia this spring, with four headline shows across the country, stopping in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
The announcement follows the release of West End Girl, her first major body of work in seven years and her most candid to date. Running 44 minutes, the album traces the breakdown of her marriage to actor David Harbour, delivered with emotional clarity, restraint and the sharp observational voice that has long defined her song writing.
For Australian audiences, the return feels overdue. It has been 15 years since Allen last appeared in Triple J’s Hottest 100, charting at #60 with 22 and #8 with Not Fair from It’s Not Me, It’s You.
Titled Lily Allen performs West End Girl, the tour will see Allen perform the album in full. Rather than a greatest-hits showcase, the format leans toward something more intimate and narrative-driven, with tracks like Pussy Palace already shaping up to be defining live moments.
While the focus remains firmly on new material, Allen’s back catalogue inevitably looms large. There is quiet optimism that select earlier tracks may surface across the run, with songs such as The Fear, Smile and Not Fair continuing to resonate not through nostalgia, but through their enduring relevance.
