The White Lotus is officially getting a season four. Yes, you read that right. Quel surprise.
The anthological series from creator Mike White has become an instant phenomenon, so the reports a fourth season has been greenlit, before the third has even aired, kind of make sense.
Per Variety, HBO has approved the next season with production being “eyed for 2026”.
It’s also reported White has “already pitched ideas to Casey Bloys, the HBO and Max chief.”
“Mike, obviously — if he wants to move forward and do the four seasons — he will do the fourth season,” Bloys told reporters back in November 2024.
The official Instagram account for the show confirmed the news shortly after it broke. In a painstakingly brief clip we can see the signature White Lotus graphics on a green backdrop with the words, “The White Lotus Season 4”.
Simple. Effective. Annoyingly devoid of any information.
The caption simply reads: “Good news travels fast. #TheWhiteLotus is excited to welcome you to a new destination.”
Where Will Season Four Of The White Lotus Be Filmed?
The next season will see the show stick to the status quo and head to a new holiday destination as confirmed by their Instagram announcement. Exactly where that will be, remains to be seen.

What Will Be The Plot Of Season Four?
Details are slim on this next chapter, but White previously promised season three would “be a supersized White Lotus”.
“It’s going to be longer, bigger, crazier,” he told EW.
And surely, it’s only up from there when it comes season four storylines, right?
When Will Season Four Of The White Lotus Be Released?
We can only estimate a date for a season four release at this point (frustrating, we know!). Season three began filming in February 2024 and is due to premiere in February this year, given HBO is eyeing production in 2026, we can probably expect a 2027 release date or late 2026 at best.
