The days of taking screenshots and going into your camera roll to zoom in and analyse every detail of a photo are over.
Because Instagram have done it, they’ve finally done it. You can now zoom in on both photos AND videos. Yes, videos.
Instagram announced the new feature in a post on their own page, using a very adorable video of a french bulldog puppy to show users how to zoom.
“Starting today, you can pinch to zoom on photos and videos in feed, on profiles, and on Explore. Dive into an adorable puppy’s smile or into every detail of your friend’s new shirt,” the post reads.
iPhone users can start zooming now, but those with Android phones will have to wait a few more weeks for the feature to be hit their screens.
