Bella Hadid and Adan Banuelos have seemingly ridden off into separate sunsets.
According to Entertainment Tonight, the model and the professional cowboy, first linked in October 2023, have quietly ended their relationship.
“Bella is doing her best to stay positive and distract herself since their split,” a source shared. “She’s been staying busy with work and spending time with close friends. She is still processing the breakup since it was a very serious relationship.”
Hadid has remained a fixture in the public eye in recent weeks. Earlier this month in New York City, she stepped out to promote her upcoming FX series The Beauty, turning heads in a sultry red Schiaparelli FW25 Couture gown.
Never one to shy away from advocacy, Hadid has been using her platform in recent days to spotlight ongoing ICE activity across the United States.

Throughout their relationship, Hadid and Banuelos largely kept their romance out of the public eye, though on rare occasions both spoke about one another with unmistakable admiration.
In August 2024, Banuelos opened up on the Along For the Ride podcast, revealing that Hadid had temporarily moved into his fifth-wheel trailer while he travelled the rodeo circuit.
“It was cool because I really wanted that to be a part of our relationship,” he said. “You start having feelings for somebody and you start thinking, ‘Man, maybe this is the rest of my life.’”
He continued, “I can’t tell you how happy I am. I can’t tell you how fortunate I am. She’s one of the kindest, biggest-hearted people. I didn’t know God made them like that. How beautiful she is on the outside is nowhere near compared to what she’s like as a human being.”
Hadid later reflected on the romance in her 2025 British Vogue cover story, recalling that she met Banuelos shortly after relocating to Texas with her mother during a particularly difficult period in her life.
“I saw him walk in, and it was like a gust of fresh air,” she said. “I was getting a cowboy hat fitted and thought, that’s the… I always wanted the cowboy.” Laughing, she added, “And he’s pretty gorgeous.”
She went on to praise his discipline and dedication, noting that Banuelos became the youngest Mexican cowboy ever inducted into the National Cutting Horse Association Hall of Fame.
“He works for his family, he works for his customers, and he works to hopefully build a home and a family one day,” she said.
For now, however, it appears this particular love story has reached its final rodeo — though all eyes remain on what lies ahead for fashion’s favourite horse girl.
