Felix Auger-Aliassime closed out the 2025 season at a career-high world No. 5, a milestone that reflected not only his talent, but the resilience and recalibration required after a year of peaks, pitfalls and hard-won growth.
Outside of Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner, he arrives in Australia as the tour’s most in-form player, buoyed by his career-best ranking and a confidence-boosting semifinal run at the ATP Finals. In other words, Felix is entering the Australian Open with both momentum and something to prove.
By his side through it all is Nina Aliassime, whom he married in a lush, multi-day celebration in Morocco in September 2025. The 25-year-olds connected instantly, with Felix telling Vogue, “without sounding cliché, it was truly love at first sight.”
The pair began dating in 2019 when they were still teenagers, and have quietly grown up together alongside his rise through the ranks of professional tennis.
Here’s everything we know about Felix Auger-Aliassime and Nina Aliassime’s whirlwind romance.
Who Is Nina Aliassime?
Nina Aliassime (née Ghaibi) is an equestrian athlete who competes internationally for Morocco and has been a fixture on the circuit since 2017, including appearances on the prestigious Moroccan Royal Tour.
A lifelong horse lover, she has been riding since childhood, a passion she often shares on social media and now with husband Felix Auger-Aliassime, who she famously introduced to the sport when they began dating.
Close with her family and deeply embedded in the sporting world, Nina is the cousin of Australian tennis star Ajla Tomljanović and no stranger to life on the professional circuit. She and Felix married in a multi-day celebration in Morocco and share a Pomeranian puppy, Timmy.
She’s also a fashion favourite, having attended the Met Gala with Felix in 2021, proving she’s as comfortable courtside as she is on the red carpet.

When Did Félix Auger-Aliassime Marry Nina Aliassime?
Félix Auger-Aliassime and Nina Aliassime were married on September 20, 2025, in a multi-day celebration at the Selman Marrakech, a setting chosen not only for its cinematic beauty but for its personal significance.
Planned over ten months and across several trips to Morocco, the wedding was a deeply collaborative labour of love, shaped by family involvement, long-distance fittings and a shared desire to honour Nina’s Moroccan heritage through a celebration that felt both intimate and transportive.
The ceremony took place beneath a floral arch, with cascading blooms framing the couple as they met at the aisle. Félix wore custom Dior, while Nina chose a bespoke Vera Wang gown, alongside a traditional Moroccan kaftan.
How Long Have Félix Auger-Aliassime & Nina Aliassime Been Together?
The pair first crossed paths in March 2019, when Félix spotted Nina in the crowd at one of his tournaments.
“When I couldn’t shake the thought of her, I felt strongly compelled to meet her before leaving the city if I wanted to leave with no regrets,” he later told Vogue. Between matches, he took a chance and messaged her, asking if she’d like to go to dinner during the tournament. She said yes.
A few days later, they met for their first date — and, by Félix’s own account, the connection was immediate.
“It was instant comfort, a young and innocent honesty, and love that never stopped growing from the moment we laid eyes on each other,” he said.
The couple became engaged in November 2024 and wed less than a year later, in September 2025. Since then, they’ve offered glimpses of their newlywed bubble on Instagram, from a Christmas spent in Monaco with Nina’s sister to cosy moments at home with their dog.
