Starring Rose Byrne and Tiffany Haddish, who play besties and business partners in charge of a cosmetics company, Like a Boss is just what your new year needs to get the happy feels rolling.
And it’s all about woman power.
“We are two badass queens like those b*tches who raised Wonder Woman. We’ve worked our asses off, we’ve opened up our own store, we’re women,” Tiffany’s character Mia says in the trailer.
Unfortunately, they’re also women with major debt who have to turn to an investor – Claire Lune, played by Salma Hayek – to save their company. But the ruthless beauty mogul ends up stealing their ideas so Mia and Mel plot to get their company back.
The world of beauty is about to get ugly. Punches are thrown, threats are made.
From what we can already see from the trailer, which Paramount Pictures released last week, the film is full of NSFW one-liners. And even though Rose and Tiffany are the lead characters, we reckon it’s Salma who steals the show.
