Joining Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson in the Unexpected Celebrity Relationships of 2019 category are British singer Lily Allen and actor David Harbour, who’s best known for his character Hopper from Netflix’s Stranger Things.
After being spotted together numerous times over the past couple of months, the singer and actor confirmed their romance on a romantic, PDA-filled stroll in New York City overnight, where Allen had flown to support Harbour for his Saturday Night Live appearance.
After Harbour hosted the show, following in the footsteps of Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Allen was spotted accompanying the actor to the official after-party in New York City. She also took to Instagram to publicly support her actor boyfriend, posting pictures on her Instagram Stories of his Soul Cycle sketch and zooming in on his biceps writing, ‘Mine’.
Allen separated from her boyfriend Meredith Dan at the start of 2018, telling Elizabeth Day on her How To Fail podcast, “I’ve always had a boyfriend. I don’t at the moment. I’m single for the first time since I was about 15.”
Harbour was most recently linked to actress Alison Sudol.
