Chanel's Metiers d'Art runway show took place overnight, featuring multiple runway debuts from some of Hollywood's most famous offspring, quintessentially-Parisian Chanel designs and the luxurious setting that is the Ritz Paris hotel.
The show, which popped up in the middle of the dining room at the Ritz Paris hotel, marked the breakout performance of 17-year-old Chanel muse Lily-Rose Depp.
Depp, who is actor Johnny Depp's daughter, was not the only spawn of Hollywood royalty walking for Chanel on Tuesday night. Lionel Richie's daughter Sofia Richie and Lauryn Hill's daughter Selah Marley, who had both previously walked together on the runway for Kanye West's 'Yeezy Season 4', also made their runway debuts for Chanel.
Model-turned-actress Cara Delevingne made her long-awaited return to the runway, opening for her favourite designer Karl Lagerfeld in a stunning ivory tweed suite which bore resemblance to the trademark suits donned by Coco Chanel herself.
Singer-songwriter and veteran of the music industry Pharrell Williams also made his runway debut in the glamorous show, sporting a navy tweed coat and a yarmulke-style headpiece whilst strutting down the runway.
16-year-old singer and Chanel muse Willow Smith, who was joined by her A-list mother Jada Pinkett Smith, performed live at the star-studded runway show. Smith played guitar and sang her newly released track 'November 9th', a song that thematically explores her anger at the result of the U.S. Presidential Election.
From the remarkable fashion, to the A-list attendees, guest stars and luxurious decor, it's safe to say that Chanel's Metiers d'Arts show and Pre-Fall 2017 collection were a *total* sensation.
