There’s nothing quite as glamorous as a race day. From the getting ready champagne to the alluring celebrity attendees and over the top marquees. Australian model and VRC Seppelt Wines Stakes Day Special Guest, Lindy Klim, is no stranger to the glitz and glam of trackside fashion, being a regular at the Melbourne Cup Carnival year after year. For Derby Day this year, Klim, shared her entire day with marie claire – sharing her getting ready rituals to arriving at the highly-anticipated LANDMARK by Lexus and G.H. Mumm marquees with husband Adam Ellis.
For the big day, Klim was styled by celebrity stylist Elliot Garnaut, who has made a name for himself setting trends that dominate the Melbourne Cup Carnival. Klim’s hair for the first day of the carnival was done by Hermiz Daniel, while makeup was done by Claire Vyverberg. Klim’s dress was Dior flown in from Paris specifically for Derby Day and was accessorised with Tony Bianco pumps, Scalan Theodore millinery and an Omega timepiece. Getting ready at the Sofitel on Collins ahead of the day, Klim was photographed by Ashleigh Larden.
