A lip reader has allegedly revealed what Prince Harry whispered to Meghan Markle after brother Prince William greeted him.

After exchanging a quick pleasantry, Harry reportedly turned to Meghan and said, “He literally said: ‘Hello Harry,’ and that was it, and he didn’t say anything more than that.”

The lip-reader, who was hired by The Telegraph, emphasised that it’s unclear if Prince Harry is referring to Prince William with this statement or one of the many other people he had met that afternoon.

The royal couples were also scrutinised for not shaking hands with one another, as they normally would have. As you might have guessed, this was due to health and safety reasons rather than animosity though: it was a precaution to stop the coronavirus from spreading.

A spokesperson for Westminster Abbey explained, “Westminster Abbey is acutely aware of the risks posed by the spread of novel coronavirus. In recent weeks we have advised members of our congregation to avoid shaking hands”.

The royal family reunion was four months in the making, as the two couples hadn’t been seen together since they stepped out for Remembrance Day events in November. Harry and Meghan made their return to the UK last week as they set out on a final round of royal engagements before they officially step down as working royals on March 31.

Harry and William were said to have “unfinished business “between them when the Duke of Sussex returned to Canada to rejoin Meghan and their son Archie following the summit at Sandringham.

“They didn’t leave on good terms by any means, but they are both relieved that it’s over,” a source told People.
