Lisa Wilkinson may have shocked viewers when she resigned from TODAY last week, but despite leaving due to an equal pay dispute, she has confirmed she has no bad blood with costar Karl Stefanovic.
Taking to Instagram, Wilkinson shared a sweet tribute to her time on the show, by leaving a special message to fans alongside a snap of herself and costar, Karl Stefanovic, 43.
“It’s been a helluva week. I’m only sorry that I never got the chance to say goodbye to you all…the incredibly supportive, engaged, opinionated, clever and wonderfully diverse audience of Today,” the 57-year-old wrote.
‘”Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the fun years we shared, and for welcoming me into your homes each morning. It has been an absolute privilege.
She added: “PS. This pic is from Karl’s and my very first publicity shoot way back in May 2007. Look at us, we were babies!!”
Fans were quick to comment on the post and leave messages of support for the star.
