For many, turning to social media in the time of lockdown has meant feeling connected. Throughout the last few months, Instagram and Twitter have become places to share commonalities - from the #DressUpFriday trend which sees women all over the world get in their fanciest gowns for no reason at all to The Social Distance Project, a website that posts anonymous stories from quarantine.
The newest in the social media world is Lockdown Stories, an Instagram account created by designer and illustrator Clare Treverrow. It details in short, concise sentences the weird and wonderful thoughts of people everywhere - from sad musings of things they miss to hilarious anecdotes from their time in isolation.
"I don't want my old life back," reads one, while another quips, "Maybe lockdown is making me sexier. Two of my exes have texted me."
