With some long-term couples even admitting that if they’d chosen to get hitched, they may very well be divorced already. And it seems the same goes for Hollywood’s A-list too.

From Hollywood golden couples like Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn to more low-key relationships like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham, these 10 pairs haven’t felt compelled to walk down the aisle despite all their years together.

The couple continue to keep their relationship status as “engaged” and don’t look to be in a hurry to walk down the aisle.

A couple for over 10 years, Dano and Kazan don’t seem to have marriage on their minds. The pair have even addressed their discomfort with being asked when they’re planning on tying the knot. Taking to Twitter, Kazan shared her stance on the matter.

Replying to another tweet saying, “Real sick of perfect strangers (and loved ones) asking when I am going to have a baby… rude ass question, 100 percent of the time”, to which Kazan replied: “Perennial reminder. ditto ‘when are you getting married'”.

Despite calling each other ‘husband’ and ‘wife’ respectively, Byrne and Cannavale have no plans on getting hitched. Dating since 2012, the pair share two sons together, Rocco and Rafa.

In an interview with Women’s Health, she admitted that before Gosling, she wasn’t interested in becoming a mother, but that “Ryan Gosling happened. I mean, falling in love with him. Then it made sense for me to have…not kids, but his kids. It was very specific to him.”

The couple actually share four children together, Minnie, Lucille, Pearl and Jack.

Speaking to the New York Times, Rudolph admitted: “people know what that means. It means he’s the father of my child, and I live with him, and we are a couple, and we are not going anywhere.”

This iconic couple have been together since 1983, when they met on the set of the film Swing Shift. And according to the pair, they even began living together after their first date. Three decades later, they are still just as in love as ever—and share a son together, named Wyatt.

Speaking to People magazine in 2015, Russell explained how his happiness comes from when I have a good day with Goldie, my grandkids, and my kids.”

And in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Hawn has attested their free will for the success of their relationship, saying: “If you leave the door open, you’ll never walk out of it.” Meaning that closing the door could add a “sense of finality,” and that many people feel that their “spirit is squelched” by the legal act of marriage.

Appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2015, Silverman told DeGeneres that she definitely wouldn’t get married until same-sex marriage became legalised in the United States.

She explained, “I just don’t understand the instinct to want to join a club that is elitist. I mean it’s like joining a country club that doesn’t allow Jews or black people. What’s the difference?”

Silverman added, “And besides that, I don’t know that I would want to get the government involved in my love, personally.” And while same-sex marriage has become legal in the U.S., Silverman and Sheen are keeping firm on their decision to obstain from marriage.

Despite their 18 year long relationship, Derek has admitted that they probably won’t ever get married. Speaking to Fox News, she said: “I don’t know if we’ll ever get married.”

“We don’t have children. There isn’t that tradition to follow. Marriage, I don’t know. It feels funny. It’s not necessary for us. We’re not proving our love, we’re not starting a new generation together of families coming together. “
