M. Night Shyamalan’s New Horror Film, ‘Old’, Is Guaranteed To Have You Spooked

Thrill seekers, this one's for you.

If there’s one thing we love in our recent viewing, it’s a good mystery—just take the Mare of Easttown and The Woman In The Window—and as always, M. Night Shyamalan is here to deliver.

Releasing an eerie new trailer for his upcoming film, Old, the creative brain behind The Sixth Sense has once again induced nightmares, with the chilling, mystery guaranteed to keep you up at night. The film follows a family on a tropical holiday, who discover that the secluded beach where they are attempting to relax for a few hours is somehow causing them to age rapidly… in turn, reducing their lives into a single day.

The film was directed and produced by M. Night Shyamalan, and the screenplay was adapted from the French graphic novel Sandcastle by Pierre Oscar Lévy and Frederik Peeters.

It features an impressive cast of actors, too, with Golden Globe winner Gael García Bernal (Mozart in the Jungle) as Jack and Vicky Krieps (Phantom Thread) as his wife Kate. Also slated to make an appearance is Rufus Sewell, Ken Leung, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Abbey Lee, Aaron Pierre, Alex Wolff, Embeth Davidtz, Eliza Scanlen, Emun Elliott, Kathleen Chalfant and Thomasin McKenzie.

As is customary in most of the director’s work, viewers are anticipating an unexpected twist.
