Margot Robbie And Nicole Kidman Are Teaming Up For A New Movie

This is going to be big

They’re part of a pretty exclusive club: A-list Australian women in Hollywood. And now, Margot Robbie and Nicole Kidman are reportedly joining forces on a new project.

The hotly anticipated film, Fair and Balanced, will explore the sexual harassment scandal that rocked Fox News (US) in 2016, and the ignominious fall of its now-deceased boss Roger Ailes.

Kidman is slated to play Gretchen Carlson, the former news anchor who blew the whistle on the company’s toxic male culture and sued Ailes for harassment. Robbie is in talks to portray an as-yet unnamed producer.

And in a win for women power – i.e strong female-led casts – Charlize Theron will play news anchor Megyn Kelly, who resigned from the network during the scandal.

“I would be called into Roger’s office, he would shut the door, and over the next hour or two, he would engage in a kind of cat-and-mouse game with me – veering between obviously inappropriate sexually charged comments (about the ‘very sexy bras’ I must have and how he’d like to see me in them) and legitimate professional advice,” Kelly wrote in her memoir Settle For More.

Theron is also a co-producer on the film.
