Australian actress Margot Robbie gave American audiences an insight into life growing up on Queensland’s Gold Coast this week, when she recounted an alarming experience her mum had with a diamond python in their front yard – and showcased her favourite party trick.

On this week’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Robbie was handed an unopened beer by Chris Pratt (who is filling in as host while Kimmel’s son recovers from surgery). Unfazed, she proceeded to open his bottle, then hers, without a bottle opener – that classic (and apparently, uniquely Australian) party trick.
Robbie says she picked up the nifty trick while working behind the bar at a Gold Coast restaurant when she was just 14.
