"I want a partner to treat me like an equal and I don't feel like that's the case," David added.
Her Dad interjected: "You make it sound like it's all her fault. There are two people in the relationship."
David continued to explain his upset with Hayley and she continued to interrupt him over and over again.
"I said sorry, I said sorry, I said sorry, I said sorry," she said on loop.
"You lips are still moving," David said. "I need help. I am shaking out of sheer frustration."
It left her father to concede: "I can see your frustration ... Hayley is very strong-willed, that's the problem."
It wasn't all bad though. After Hayley's pal, Bek, asked David for some positive things he liked about his wife, he was more than happy to open up.
"She does have a huge heart, she's a mother hen. When she cooks, she knocks on everyone's door sharing the food," he said. "She likes doing things for her man and she's house proud."
(Does David want a wife or a slave?)
Elsewhere, Mishel's teenage daughter, Eva, confronted Steve about his "controlling" ways, which leads her to breakdown in tears as she recalls her tough upbringing.
"Mum has been hurt a lot, we haven't had a good life," Eva cried.
"My dad cheated on my mum - it hasn't been easy for her at all. It hasn't been an easy life for us. She raised us as a single mum ... She has been hurt by so many men, so it's really hard for to open up."
"Don't get upset. darling," Steve said, as he told Eva how proud Mishel is of her and how happy he is with Mishel.
But the chat left Steve upset over his son, who lives in the UK, and who he hasn't spoken to in a number of years.
