If you thought last week’s Married At First Sight dinner party (the “most dramatic first dinner party” in the show’s history) was chaotic, well then strap yourselves in as round two doesn’t sit on its laurels either. Where in God’s name have they found these people?

Giving Hayley Vernon and her on-again off-again husband David Cannon a night off, it’s Michael Goonan who is at Steve Burley’s throat at first, before the self-titled “shit-stirrer” moves onto Natasha Spencer and Mikey Pembroke.
Steve and Michael’s row all kicked off over a disagreement they had at the bucks party over whether they should kiss their bride on the lips or not.
Steve said he would kiss his bride on the cheek unless he was 100% sure he had consent to kiss her on the lips, but Michael wouldn’t care about his bride’s blessing, adding: “I’m sorry, but a kiss should be on the lips.”
The exchange got heated between the alpha-males which led expert John Aiken to observe: “I’m a bit surprised Steve is falling for Michael’s baiting here.”
“Steve has lost control,” fellow expert Mel Schilling added.
Mishel tried to interject to calm matters down, but she was knocked back by her husband.
“Let me finish,” Steve yelled at Mishel.
“This is a regular day for me,” Mishel told Michael and his wife Stacey. “[Steve] shuts me up so many times.”
Shocked by Steve’s harsh words to Mishel, Stacey followed in her husband’s meddling footsteps, and told him: “You are shutting her down, you are belittling her in front of everyone.”
Mishel hugged Michael for sticking up to her, which made Steve even more furious.
“That made me look like a knob,” he said.
After that heated altercation you would think that Michael would give himself the rest of the night off, but no, not the producers’ prize pig.
On arrival to the dinner party, Natasha revealed that she and Mikey were the fourth couple to consummate their marriage, but her delivery left a lot to be desired (a bit like Mikey, actually).
“[It was] the best 10 seconds of my life. I can’t wait for 20, he got a leg cramp,” she laughed as she told a shocked Michael and Stacey.
“I think we need to get to the bottom of Natasha tonight,” Michael said. “I think she is a fake person running Mikey’s name through the mud and it’s my job to tell Mikey.”
When Mikey found out what Natasha had said he decides to leave the table and take a moment to himself.
“I feel like I was slapped in the face … I’m not really feeling this anymore. I’m really angry, I don’t want anything to do with Natasha,” Mikey said, despite their relationship being iron clad earlier in the day.
“I’ve never been so humiliated in my life, I am really upset.”
Natasha cries and also decides she wants to go home, but before she does, she marches right up to Michael who is grinning like a Cheshire cat.
“I didn’t think you would take it seriously because I thought you knew how to take a joke. It was a joke,” she said, but Michael wasn’t having any of it.
“I said it to Mikey because as a bloke, I was like, ‘I feel so sorry for you.’ Don’t sex shame your lad.”
