With just a week to go until the highly-anticipated Married At First Sight: Reunion Specialthere’s already so much drama that’s going down—and we just can’t wait until it airs to get to the bottom of it.

The two-part special will bring back the former couples from the show for yet another dinner party filled with controversy and drama, as well as a reunion with MAFS relationship experts John Aiken and Mel Schilling, who catch up with the former brides and grooms to talk about life post-social experiment.

It will air across two nights on Channel Nine, starting from Sunday, January 31, at 7pm, and Sunday February 7, at 7pm.

The confirmed list includes Jules Robinson and Cameron Merchant (season six), Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli (season six), Dean Wells (season five), Tracey Jewel (season five), Jessika Power (season six), Ines Basic (season six), Mike Gunner (season six), and Cyrell Paule (season six).

Despite the reunion not airing until Sunday, several rumours have been leaked ahead of its release this week—and unsurprisingly, two of the show’s most outspoken contestants are in the middle of all the drama.

Can’t wait for it all to unfold? Below, four juicy rumours from the Married At First Sight reunion episode

Cyrell And Jessika Power Go Head-To-Head (Again)

Thanks to Channel Nine’s most recent trailer (see above), a fight between Cyrell and Jessika is no longer in the rumour category—but there’s a lot to unpack.

The two TV brides, who repeatedly hit back at one another while appearing on MAFS‘ sixth season, come to blows once again, this time over their consistent bashing of one another over social media following their respective time on the show.

“What I love about reunions, is you can’t hide behind your Instagram,” Cyrell says in the new trailer, seemingly targeting Jess.

The video also shows Jess in tears and a clip of Mike Gunner yelling across the table, “You’ve upset everyone and you know it!”

While we’re yet to fully know what the two argue about this time, it’s reportedly enough for Jess to walk out of the reunion for good.

There’s Yet *Another* Wine Throwing Incident

According to the So Dramatic! podcast, the pair’s feud heightens when Jess brings up Cyrell’s partner—Love Island’s Eden Dally“It all stems from them both hooking up with Eden Dally, who is now Cyrell’s baby daddy,” host Megan Pustetto says, which eventually led to a wine throwing incident.

Appearing on the podcast Nasser Sultan backs up the story, telling Pustetto: “Cyrell confronted her and it got heated, and she threw white wine all over her, in her face. It wasn’t even like on her shirt, it was in her face,” he said. “I felt sorry for her [Jess]. I really did.”

He later revealed that Cyrell then tried to throw a whole jug at Jess, before she was escorted out and made to cool off by production.

Nasser Sultan Gets Into Blows With Almost Everyone

Why is it unsurprising that reports suggest Nasser Sultan is involved in the drama surrounding the reunion episode?

According to the former contestant, who spoke to Daily Mail outside of his hotel, bags in hand, an argument began between him and Cyrell before the “dinner party of co-stars turned on him.”

The reality star told the publication that an argument arose between him and Cyrell when she asked for an apology for “trolling her baby”—10-month-old Boston.

“It started, she wanted me to apologise saying that I’m a troll and trolled her while she was pregnant. She went off,” he said. “Three times I tried to apologise and she just kept at me and at me. I thought the best thing to do is to walk out.”
He added, “I expected a bit of backlash, but not the extreme that was on tonight. It was just attack Nasser tonight, it wasn’t anything to do with the reunion.”

Jessika And Martha Make-Up Following Their Longstanding Feud, Leaving Ines Basic On The Outs

Following their feud on the series sixth season, Martha and Jessika reportedly make up, leaving Ines Basic annoyed at her former friend.

“When everyone walked in, Martha pulled Jess aside and asked her to have a wine with her, and they went and had a chat in the side room straight away,” So Dramatic’s! Pustetto claims. “Things were said, it got pretty heated, but it was somewhat resolved. They were then sitting down being friendly and having a bit of a chat.”

“They resolved their issues. Everyone was shocked, they were ‘WTF? They hate each other, what is going on?’ The main culprit was Ines, she was not happy that Jess had made up with her arch-nemesis Martha, so Ines stormed up to them during their chat and she’s like, ‘What the eff are you doing, Jess? So you two are just effing friends now are you?’”

“Jess was like, ‘Babe, chill out,’ and then Martha was like, ‘Babe, we’re just trying to be civilised. We’re talking about women’s positivity! Leave us alone.’ Ines was like, ‘being civilised?! Then Ines turned on Jess, like massively turned on her. They didn’t speak all night and now Ines hates Jess and they’re still not speaking.”
