Ahead of Married At First Sight‘s sure to be shocking finale, Dean Wells has revealed what his fellow contestants thought when they saw video footage of him on a date with Davina Rankin.
ICY(somehow)MI, Dean, who is married to Tracey on the show, decided to get a drink with contestant Davina (who was married to another groom).
While on the date, charming Dean said he likes Tracey but that his wife’s “looks are not her best quality.”
Naturally, the MAFS producers saved the footage until the very last week of the show, before sitting everyone down to watch the affair play out.
Speaking to Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa yesterday, Dean revealed his comments on Tracey’s looks didn’t go down well when aired in front of his fellow co-stars.
But, of course, the groom had a well-rehearsed explanation: “It’s not good. All I was saying is that Tracey has many, many, many good qualities and she is beautiful,” he said.
“But she has many other good qualities that even outshine how beautiful she is.”
