Married At First Sight’s Elizabeth made viewers fall in love with her for her no BS attitude to husband Sam and her penchant for a Cadbury family block of chocolate. Since her departure from the series, she’s continued to wow fans with her new look.
Taking to Instagram, the outspoken bride showed a totally new and dramatic look – chopping off her brunette locks in favour of a very on-trend bob. “And so the days float through my eyes #chameleon #davidbowie #thankyousteph #independentstylist”, she captioned.

Fans couldn’t get enough of Elizabeth’s new look. “WOW”, one wrote, with another adding “You look amazing!”
Following the outpouring of support, Elizabeth again took to Instagram to share that there was a reason behind her hair transformation. “Hey guys! I love that everyone is loving my new look,” she wrote to the social media platform. “It’s such a fun process for me to try out different looks and be artistic.
“Now, I just wanted to let people know that my hair extensions are still there. All that has changed has been my colour and length. I’ve had the top darkened to give a more balayage feel. The amount of tape hair extensions I had when originally changing the colour is still there.”
Elizabeth continued, “Why I feel that I had to address this is because I do indeed have a medical condition where I loose my hair due to overexposure of light, and I have a rash predominantly on the back of my nape travelling to my ears, it covers most of my scalp, but the bulk of the rash is at the back of my head. It is not pleasant and it never leaves and I have to treat it with a steroid every second day. The extensions act a way similar to a hat. Due to the bulk of hair it offers my scalp more of a form of protection.”
Last week, Elizabeth also gained the praise of fans after jumping to the defence of fellow MAFS star Cyrell following her outburst at the dinner party. Following the dinner party, Elizabeth appeared on Channel Nine program Talking Married to defend ‘Cyclone Cyrell’.
“With Cyrell, she can see past a lot of people…there’s a lot of people in this experiment who have gotten hurt, and she hates to see that,” Elizabeth said. Cyrell caused an uproar on last night’s episode when she confronted fellow bride Jessika about her feelings for new groom Dan, claiming that she was doing the dirty behind ‘husband’ Mick’s back.
“She hurts. She actually hurts,” said Elizabeth. “She sees people being malicious towards others and she cannot stand it, and she’s like, ‘that is not right.'”
Elizabeth also revealed that Cyrell is aware of her rage issues and is taking steps to address it. “She knows, and she is,” she said. The former reality star also believes that Cyrell was purposely provoked on the show.
“I think that some people might find it a bit amusing to see her do this ‘cyclone’ personality,” she added. “She’s got a good heart, and if you listen to anything that she’s so-called ‘going ballistic over’, her point is extremely valid.”
