Australian fans have been outraged as Married At First Sight’s Davin and Dean go on a date together – despite being married to other contestants and now Ryan Gallagher, Davina’s husband has spoken out about the awkward situation.
Speaking on TODAY, the star admitted he feels like a ‘dipstick’ after his bride Davina Rankin and Dean Wells’ secret romance unfolded on Tuesday night’s episode.
The tradie admitted he went onto the reality TV show with his “heart wide open” but now he just feels “like an idiot”.
Gallagher spoke openly to hosts Karl Stefanovic and Georgie Gardner, telling them that he found it ”hard to watch” his bride get close with another contestant.
“I feel like an idiot because I didn’t know what was going on,” he said before confirming he won’t be settling down with the brunette. ‘Sort of not going to end up doing that… It’s not the best outcome.”
Of course on last night’s episode, Dean and Davina planned a catch up at a bar whereby they both revealed they feel the need to leave their respective partners. And even ponder if they’re a better match together.
The pair sat closely as Davina confessed, “In the outside world you would be the type of guy I go for 100percentt if I saw you in a bar I would go up and talk to you.”
“Stop flattering me – actually don’t stop,’ Dean replied, to which Davina rebutted “Don’t stop rubbing my leg!”
