Married At First Sight wrapped up with it’s final ~Grand Finale~ last night after a week of drama and intense farewells.
One couple who managed to make things work through to the end was Troy Delmege and Carly Bowyer, which is surprising considering they were initially married to other people on the hit dating show.
While Troy was married to Ashley Irvin, and Carly was married to Justin Fischer, their relationships didn’t work out. Instead, they found comfort – and love! – in the arms of each other.
Since filming wrapped their relationship has only grown stronger, with Troy telling the Daily Telegraph on Wednesday, that he could “happily” spend the rest of his life with Carly.
“Marriage is definitely on the cards for us,” he told the publication. “She’s definitely a girl I could see my entire future with.”
Carly agreed with his sentiment, saying she always wanted her next partner to be the one she spent the rest of her life with.
“Troy and I both went on this show wanting to find the love of our life,” she said. “I want my next boyfriend to be the one and he’s the same.”
Troy went on to compliment Carly, saying: “She ticks every single box I looked for and in terms of physical beauty, she’s 100 per cent.”
Troy’s comments to the publication mimic Carly’s made in the last two episodes.
“There have been no intimacy issues with Troy at all,” Carly said in the show’s final episode.
“Troy’s so affectionate, we are literally so magnetised to each other and can’t keep our hands off each other. It’s completely the polar opposite of what it was like for me and Justin.”
