Former Bachelor Matthew ‘Matty J’ Johnson and Laura Byrne are expecting their first child, and the couple pulled out all the stops for their extravagant baby shower.
Laura announced she was pregnant back in December, and with not long to go the pair celebrated in style. Coming together with their friends and family at Watson’s Bay Boutique Hotel, the Bachelor couple celebrated the impending arrival of their new addition, due in June.
Taking to her Instagram on Sunday, Laura shared some candid snaps from the lavish affair.

“Ohhhh BABY!!!,” Laura began a lengthy Instagram post about the day. “Yesterday we celebrated Baby Johnson with all the family, friends and pastel we could muster. I’m so full to the brim of love and completely off my tits on sugar. We can’t wait to meet this little human we have made.
“It still completely blows my mind that we have no idea if we are Mum and Dad to a little girl or boy – 10 WEEKS TO GO!! To all our family and friends who made yesterday so very special, we love you!! (Please keep an eye on the mail as we will be sending out your babysitting roster shortly).
“I also can’t wait to share with you guys the details of the beautiful spread we put together @watsonsbayboutiquehotel – I never thought I’d be the sort of person to have a big fussy pastel themed baby shower, but here I am in all my pastel glory loving every inch of it ❤️❤️❤️”
