Ever since The Bachelor aired it’s first drama-filled episode two weeks ago, speculation has been rife about which lucky lady will steal Matty J away from the nation. He is “our” internet boyfriend, after all.
Daily Mail is yet to produce their standard spoiler photos that have ruined several finales – including Richie and Alex last season – so for now fans are taking literally anything they can get.
The most recent ~spoiler~ floating around? A suspicious Instagram crop. Yes, really.
Matty spent Sunday hanging out with his mother at Cremorne Reserve, where he took to social media with a sweet photo.
“Sunday spent hanging out with my biggest fan,” he captioned the snap.
Fans are super suss on the editing of the post, because his feed is typically littered with perfectly edited pics.
“I think the winner is cropped out on the left,” one commented. Another one wrote, “I feel like you cropped out your girl.”
“His girl is defs on the other side of this photo,” said another confident detective.
Scroll through the whopping 200 comments, and you’ll notice plenty of similar statements about how this season’s Bachie has “clearly” cut someone from the photo.
Some alternative theories we would like to put forward for thirsty fans to consider include:
A) He’s working on a new Instagram aesthetic featuring artsy crops
B) He wanted to prominently include that subtle Harbour View
C) The person who took the photo is really bad at framing
All valid, in our honest opinion.
