Easy-breezy-luxe family driving

A very useful, practical and stylish car for my family of four

If you’ve got three or more children or you just like large SUVs, Mazda’s CX-9 should be high on your look-list. It’s a proper, large seven seat SUV, but they’ve certainly made driving such a big car easy.

The handling is beautiful, the drive is smooth, the gears change quickly and everything is a breeze to do.

I was also able to get the CX-9 into some tight parks this week, that even I was surprised to fit into. You do get a reverse parking camera, front camera and 360 degree view camera to help you out.

Inside is swish in the top of the range Azami. You’ll find nappa leather seats which look and feel great, box stitching on the leather steering wheel, a vegan leather dash that looks good, and a head-up display in the windscreen so you can see your speed and the speed limit without looking down.

The boot opens when you hold down a button on the key which I always find the most useful feature!
