There's no denying that many famous celebrity couples are now steering away from traditional baby names and opting for a more unique approach. Take newborns True, Hart and Stormi, for example. An added bonus of being born the child of a Hollywood A-lister, perhaps? Here, we investigate the reasoning behind some of the most unusual celebrity baby names.
Take note, Harry and Meghan!

"I wanted a more traditional name and she wanted a name that was more unusual," he said. "And the reason she chose Bear in the end was because Bear is a name that when you leave a room, you won't forget. And I like that." Meaning: Posh and Becks are certainly no strangers to extravagant measures that concern their children. After all, Victoria has trademarked the names of all four children. Their inspiration for their third son's name, Cruz, comes from no other than Tom Cruise himself. The famous soccer player also told Grant Wahl that Cruz was given his name as he was delivered in Madrid, as it means 'cross' in Spanish. ‘I must admit, when we met Tom, I remember turning around to Victoria and saying, “Cruise is a great name, but we could spell it different” ‘And also, living in Spain [at the time], Cruz is spelt the way it is in Spanish. So that’s why we got it.’
Parents: Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner
Meaning: The meaning behind this unique celebrity baby name isn't as complex as you would think. In fact, it's quite simple. In a sit-down interview for the Evening Standard, Kylie told older sister Kim Kardashian West "I really don’t know how we thought of Storm," "Her dad insisted it was him, but I feel like it was me." "I didn’t really like just Storm - I didn’t feel like that was her name," she continued, "So then it became Stormi. And it just stuck."
