Meghan Says Archie Sees Her And Prince Harry As “Superheroes” At Surprise Appearance

Too cute!

News of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry might be stuck on their tell-all with Oprah Winfrey, but it looks like the royal couple is sticking to their life of service. Over the weekend, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex surprised a virtual gathering for an organisation, MomsRising, which aim to advocate for women and raise awareness surrounding issues women and mothers face.

“The meeting with Prince Harry and Meghan was a huge boost for MomsRising members, some of whom are struggling without jobs, childcare, paid leave, health care and other essentials during the pandemic,” executive director and CEO of MomsRising Kristin Rowe-Finkbeiner told E! News. “The Duke and Duchess were kind, compassionate and incredibly supportive, both on a personal level and of the policies that would help get their lives back on track.”

Rowe-Finkbeiner added that Markle, who is currently expecting her second child, offered up some sound advice. “The duchess also reminded us that, especially in times of self-doubt, we should take the opportunity to see ourselves through our children’s eyes. Because to our children, we’re superheroes. That really resonated with so many of us.”

Earlier this month, to celebrate Women’s History Month, the duchess baked a cake made with lemons from her garden as part of an Archewell Foundation Dinner thrown for a group of Chicago women in partnership with World Central Kitchen.
“We hope you enjoy the offering we baked for you—a small token of thanks, from our home to yours. Our hope with this effort is to show that, when we all participate, even the smallest actions can have a ripple effect. Even individual actions can impact the whole of us,” she wrote in a letter addressed to the recipients of the meal.
