This Royal Family Social Media Post Had Fans Convinced Meghan Markle Had Given Birth

They're just trolling at this point

Meghan Markle is due at any moment now, and the impending news has left many Royal Fans on edge.

The Royal Family, who would be well aware the entire world is waiting for the arrival of Baby Sussex, is not letting the global anticipation deter their social media presence.

On Monday, the Royal Family’s official Instagram and Twitter pages shared an image of two women looking in awe at a newborn baby. Upon reading the caption, we learn the women in the photograph is Sophie, Countess of Wessex, and a doctor or nurse, respectively. The Countess is currently visiting India on behalf of the Queen’s Jubilee Trust — they hope to help put an end to avoidable blindness, Retinopathy of prematurity, in premature babies in India.

The timing and overall nature of the photograph left fans reeling.

“I thought the royal baby was born,” one wrote, with another adding “Omggeee I about had a fit. Thought the new baby was born #stillwaiting”.

Royal watchers were subject to another major false alarm on Friday when an ambulance was spotted parked on the edge of Prince Harry and Meghan’s estate. Sources soon confirmed that the emergency vehicle was not there for the Duchess, and, rather, was just picking up food for students in a training program.
