This Is How Meghan Markle Gets Rid Of Blackheads

As told by her facialist

As all Londoners know, Sarah Chapman is the go-to skin guru. So naturally, Meghan Markle started booking in before she became Prince Harry’s wife.

Now, Chapman has shared her secrets to banishing blackheads and maintaining Ms Markle’s glow with Hello! magazine.

Her first tip? “Wash your hands. Then begin by using a facial steamer to open the pores and prepare the skin – or have a bath or shower. Apply a balm cleanser like my Ultimate Cleanse [ed’s note: we also like the Eve Lom cleanser and Dermalogica Pre-Cleanse Balm] to the whole face, using massage techniques to work it deeper into the skin, and then circle the blemish with the pads of your fingers to soften the blockage further.”

Then? “Apply a warm flannel to the affected area and start to apply gentle pressure with a wiggle to either side of the blemish, stopping immediately if you see any blood. It is important to always use your fingers and to avoid using your nails, as this can cause trauma to the skin.”

Meghan Markle is also said to swear by this natural acne solution for nixing rogue spots, but if you’re plagued by more persistent pimples, read up on our adult acne guide.
