Call off the wedding! That’s what Meghan Markle’s estranged half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr, is imploring Prince Harry to do in a bizarre letter attempting to prevent “the biggest mistake in royal wedding history.”
The handwritten letter, which Mr Markle shared with In Touch, calls for Prince Harry to cancel the wedding “before it’s too late,” news.com.au reports.
“Meghan Markle is obviously not the right woman for you,” he writes, labeling her a “jaded, shallow, conceited woman that will make a joke of you and the royal family heritage.”
“I’m confused why you don’t see the real Meghan that the whole world now sees,” he continues. “Meghan’s attempt to act the part of a princess like a below C average Hollywood actress is getting old.”
Ouch.
While we have no way of verifying whether Mr Markle actually wrote this letter, this isn’t the first time he’s spoken out against his half-sister – in February, he told the same publication that he received “a slap in the face” when he asked Meghan for help with the media’s new interest in him, news.com.au reports.
He’s also spoken to the Daily Mail about how close he and the future Duchess were when they were children.
Meghan’s mother and Mr Markle’s father, Thomas Markle, divorced when she was six years old.
