Meghan Markle’s Estranged Family Will Be Royal Wedding Correspondents

They didn’t get invited, so…

Every bride experiences some level of pre-wedding anxiety, but we have a feeling Meghan Markle’s big day nerves may have just gone up a notch: apparently, her estranged family have signed up as royal wedding correspondents.

US Weekly reports that three of the future princess’ relatives “will be flying down to London to be TV wedding correspondents.” The relatives in question? You guessed it – none other than Markle’s estranged half-sister Samantha Grant (the one who’s releasing a tell-all memoir titled The Diary Of Princess Pushy’s Sister), along with her nephew Tyler Dooley and his mum, Tracy.

Tyler and Tracy appeared on Good Morning Britain this week to lament their lack of royal wedding invitations, although they admit they haven’t spoken to their long-lost relative for at least three years.

Samantha Grant, meanwhile, has already been vocal in her criticism of her half-sister, telling A Current Affair she has “a right to help people understand how things really are” and that she feels Markle abandoned their bankrupt father.

“I don’t think he feels like she owes him, but that is how I see it,” she says. “Honestly what she could spend in a weekend would greatly help Dad. If you can afford $75,000 for a dress, you can afford $75,000 to help your dad,” referring to the Ralph & Russo couture gown her sister wore for her royal engagement photo shoot.

We can’t wait to hear what she thinks about the amount of cash sure to be splashed on the big day.
