Meghan Markle Opts For Olive Green At Prince Louis Christening

A very unexpected look for the Duchess

After seeming to completely shun colour from her royal wardrobe, following on from that yellow dress last week, Meghan Markle has once again opted for colour to attend Prince Louis’ christening.

The Duchess opted for an olive green Ralph Lauren dress with belted waist and draped sleeves – as well as her favourite bateau neckline.

Taking a cue from sister-in-law Kate, Meghan matched all her accessories perfectly, with a green clutch,  Stephen Jones hat and Manolo Blahnik pumps, she also shied away from her trademark messy bun, opting for a sleek ponytail.

Meghan and Prince Harry seemed to be back to their affectionate ways at the event, holding hands as they greeted the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, who baptised the little Prince.

Uncle Harry reportedly splashed out a reported $14,000 on a rare, first-edition Winnie The Pooh book from 1926.

Harry is reportedly planning to build a library for his young nephews and niece in memory of his mother, and their grandmother, Princess Diana.

“One of Harry’s happiest childhood memories was being read a bedtime story by his mother,” a source told The Sun.

“She loved all the old classics and Harry had the brilliant idea of starting a little library of first editions for Louis, Charlotte and George to enjoy as they get older.”
