Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Are On Their Third Nanny For Baby Archie

Third time's a charm?

It looks like Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are struggling to find the perfect person to entrust with the care of their two-month old son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are trialing their third nanny – reportedly a British woman – after the first two hires didn’t work out. While some have raised eyebrows about the high staff turnover, a source close to the royal couple puts the process down to Harry and Meghan wanting to ensure they’re making the right decision.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle “do not want to rush this or take any risks getting this decision right,” a royal insider told The Sun. “It’s deeply personal and can depend on the needs of the baby and parents,” they explained, before adding, “Often there are different needs at different stages of the baby’s life. The first nanny was a night nurse.”

The couple’s new nanny reportedly isn’t based at the Sussexes’ home of Frogmore Cottage or working weekends, however she’ll be heading overseas to South Africa with the royal family in spring to help look after Baby Archie on his first royal tour.

Despite not having yet found the perfect fit – and still being on maternity leave, Meghan has attended two public engagements since the birth of Baby Archie on May 6th. The first, to celebrate the Queen’s birthday at Trooping the Colour, where she wore a Givenchy blue coat dress and debuted her redesigned engagement ring, and the second just this weekend to attend a baseball game with Harry

It’s also rumoured the Duchess will make an appearance at this year’s Wimbledon tournament to support her BFF, Serena Williams.
