It’s hard to believe that it’s just been two years since Prince Harry proposed to Meghan Markle. In that time we’ve not only had a royal wedding between the now-Duke and Duchess of Sussex, but the addition of a royal baby, Archie Harrison.

But this very day – well, technically the 27th of November in the UK – Harry revealed he’d gotten down on one knee and proposed to Meghan, then an actress living in Canada and working on hit drama Suits – in his cottage while the two were roasting a chicken for dinner.

Despite technically being on a break from their royal duties – the couple is in America with Meghan’s mum for Thanksgiving and Christmas – Harry and Meghan took to Instagram to commemorate the day, sharing three images, including a never-before-seen wedding photo.

“On this day, two years ago: 27th of November 2017, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced the news of their engagement, later becoming Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex! They have since celebrated their wedding anniversary and welcomed their son, Archie, into the world ❤️” they wrote.

The second slide in the gallery is a black and white photo from their May 19th wedding, showing the bride and groom smiling with their arms around each other after the ceremony in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.

Congrats to the happy couple!
