It looks like the Meghan Effect has now taken hold of the royal family! Less than one week after Meghan Markle stepped out wearing a skirt by Misha Nonoo – a close friend of the royals and the woman rumoured to have set up Meghan and Harry – Princess Beatrice attended an event in the exact same one.
While celebrating the launch of her cookbook, Together: Our Community Cookbook, the Duchess of Sussex paired the pleated midi-length skirt with a black sleeveless turtleneck, a blue coat and black pumps.
A few days later, Princess Beatrice, also attending a charity event, wore the same skirt and a similar top. She wore a tan coat and flat shoes.
Earlier this year, celebrity stylist and PR agency owner Rochelle White told the Daily Mail that Meghan’s classic style had influenced Princess Beatrice’s wardrobe.
“Beatrice has definitely been taking notes on the royal fashion of Meghan,” White said. “She has been a big influence on fashion, trends and style and I think she has seen the power in that. This has probably made her look at her own fashion and style choices.”
