This Is What Meghan Markle’s Royal Title Will Be…

Interesting!

When Meghan Markle weds Prince Harry in the autumn of 2018 (spring in the U.K), she will receive a royal title.

Like Kate Middleton, she will not become a princess after marrying one of Princess Diana’s sons. Following in the Duchess of Cambridge’s footsteps, the 36-year-old will become a Duchess, and royal watchers have their bets on the Duchess of Sussex.

When Middleton married Prince William in 2011, Queen Elizabeth gave them the royal titles of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. As the next in line to the throne, William will likely become the Prince of Wales when his dad, Prince Charles, become the King of England.

Harry is fifth in line to the throne after William and Kate’s children Prince George and Princess Charlotte. When they give birth to a third child this spring, Harry will lose his place to sixth in line.

Royal insiders believe that when Harry marries Markle this spring, he’ll be given the title of Duke of Sussex, which would make the Suits star the Duchess of Sussex.
