Kensington Palace (who didn’t seem to take issue with the offending dress) posted some candid photos of the Duchess of Sussex mingling with locals, but it didn’t take long for the trolls came out thick and fast, criticising her choice of attire for being ‘too casual’.
One charming person wrote on Instagram, “She is not dressing for a Royal tour. She is dressing as if this is her own private vacation. I guess we have to blame her dresser/fashion advisor. Totally got it wrong for a Royal tour.”
However, for every hater, there was plenty of love for the Markle’s outfit choice.
