Meghan Markle Sticks To Her Winning Style Formula For Young Leaders Awards

The Duchess wears Prada

Since marrying Prince Harry, Meghan Markle has stuck with two very obvious style choices; 1. Keep it nude: sticking with a predominantly neutral colour palette, and 2. Keep it female: sticking with female designers and female-led fashion houses.

And stepping out to attend the Queen’s Young Leaders Awards at Buckingham Palace overnight, she ticked off both boxes perfectly. The Duchess of Sussex opted for a soft pink Prada midi-frock with cap-sleeves and double-breasted belted bodice.

She accessorised the look with a pair of black Aquazurra stilettos and matching back clutch and topped it off with princess-perfect soft waves.

Meghan’s look perfectly complimented the Queen’s colourful floral frock. Another tick.

The awards were held to honour young people across the commonwealth who show leadership and service in their communities and using their skills to transform lives.

“You are the hope and optimism the world needs and we will all do everything that we can to support you in it,” said Harry during a speech before the Queen presented the awards.

Two Australians were included in the program, Hunter Johnson, 26, who co-founded The Man Cave which works with men and boys to help end the stigma around mental health, and Caitlin Figueiredo, 22, who founded World Vision’s youth organization VGen ACT as well as the Peshawar School for Peace.
