Opting to wear a vintage Dior coat and navy blue beret, the Duchess of Sussex looked all the part a Parisian. Topping off the fashion forward look with a Victoria Beckham box bag, it was one of the Duchess’s best ever outfits — and oh so Frenchy.
So where was Meghan wearing a beret and vintage Dior to? The former Suits actress-turned-royal was a guest at Lena Tindall’s — Prince Harry’s goddaughter — christening, celebrating the 9-month-old baby.
Daughter of Mike and Zara Tindall, Lena’s christening was a small family affair, hosted at the St. Nicholas Church in Cherington, Gloucestershire. Attending as private citizens, the royal appearance wasn’t publicly documented, and the engagement is separate from those the couple make while working. It’s expected that the Duchess won’t be making any more public appearances until the birth of her first child in April.
Kate Middleton and Prince William were not in attendance at the new British royal's christening.
Meghan’s maternity style has seen the Duchess don 76 outfits in total, coming to a cost of nearly $1 million. Over the past seven months — starting with the royal tour of Australia and New Zealand — the Duchess has worn everything from Givenchy gowns to H&M dresses, showing off her bump proudly and proving she’s got serious style when it comes to maternity dressing. But to finish with vintage Dior? Now, that’s impressive.
